Liesl Gibson, Chief Designer

After earning a degree in fashion design from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), Liesl Gibson worked as a designer for several top fashion brands, including Tommy Hilfiger and Ralph Lauren.

In 2007, Liesl started her own firm, Liesl + Co., to bring style-conscious, fashion forward design to home sewing enthusiasts.

In 2008 Liesl + Co. launched its first brand, Oliver + S, which produces sewing patterns and fabrics for children's clothing. Oliver + S products are available on the company's website and through independent fabric stores worldwide. Her first book, Oliver + S Little Things to Sew, which features 20 full-length projects for children's accessories, was published by STC Craft-Melanie Falick Books in 2011.

Liesl + Co. launched Lisette in the spring of 2011.

Lisette Sewing Patterns

Lisette patterns are produced and distributed by Simplicity Creative Group under the Simplicity brand. The patterns, which make use of the same sizing and fit specifications as all of Simplicity's other patterns, are available worldwide wherever Simplicity products are sold.

Lisette Fabrics

Lisette fabrics are produced and distributed by Fabric Traditions. They are available in the United States at all Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores® and at all Spotlight stores in Australia.
