Here\u2019s my take on the <a title=\"market skirt pattern\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sewlisette.com\/AP\/OLV-U02211.html\">Market Skirt<\/a> with the kick pleat option made up in a <a title=\"cotton twill\" href=\"http:\/\/www.sewlisette.com\/fabric\/L0711\">cotton twill<\/a> from the Lisette Fall fabric collection.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.sewlisette.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/market2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-906\" title=\"market2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.sewlisette.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/market2-387x700.jpg\" alt=\"Market skirt view A\" width=\"387\" height=\"700\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.sewlisette.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/market2-387x700.jpg 387w, https:\/\/www.sewlisette.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/market2-166x300.jpg 166w, https:\/\/www.sewlisette.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/11\/market2.jpg 443w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 387px) 100vw, 387px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since I was working with a directional print, I turned the stripes sideways inside the kick pleats for a fun detail. I usually wear my shirts and sweaters over the top my skirts, so I left off the button tabs at the waist.<\/p>\n<p>I was inspired by all the fun colors in this print so I took a colorblocking approach to styling it to highlight some of the colors.\u00a0As soon as the weather turns cool I raid my drawer full of colored tights and I just happened to have the right shade of purple to go with the skirt. And I\u2019ll take any excuse to pull out my lime green pumps.<\/p>\n<p>I would love to see how you style this skirt.
